I've been obsessed with Vespas my whole life. Grew up Sicilian-American in Staten Island, and somewhere along the line the Italian thing and the scooter thing fused into one. That's just how it went.

I started working on them because nobody was doing it the way I thought it should be done. If you love these machines — really love them, not just ride them — you spot a half-hearted job a mile off. I couldn't let it slide. So I learned, practiced, screwed up, got better. People started bringing me their scooters. Then more people. Then it was a real thing.

Richmond County Scooter is named for the borough — Staten Island is Richmond County. That's home. That's where the garage is. That's where it all gets built.

I'm plugged into the Vespa community across New York and into Italy. The culture, the history, the people who ride these things and take them seriously — that's what this is all about. Come find me.
